Virgin Active was built around a really friendly, human idea: the small bits of effort that add up.

We used non-actors for the film, which made the whole process feel very alive. A big part of the job was creating enough comfort on set for people to relax, play, and find those little performance moments that felt true to them.

The transitions began as a way of tying the scenes together, but quickly became much more than that. They gave the film its rhythm, its identity, and a sense of momentum, carrying us from one small victory to the next.

I love the warmth of the finished piece. That easy, friendly energy is something I always try to cultivate on set: a comfortable, fun space where people feel safe enough to try things out.
